SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Shan (North and East) and Chin States, weather has been generally fair in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay Region and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk and Minbu, (41°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.59)inch, Myitkyina (0.51)inch, Homalin (0.44)inch, Dawei (0.39)inch, Hkamti and Myeik (0.35) inch each, Putao and Mogaung (0.28)inch each, Tamu (0.16)inch and Tiddim (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
