SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Chin State, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, weather has been partly cloudy in Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about March average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Mawlaik (0.35)inch, Moenyin, Moegaung, Tamu and Kawthong (0.28)inch each and Pinlaebu (0.24)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
