SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about March average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri), Kyaukse, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay, Taunggu and Shwegyin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.91)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
