SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State and weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below March average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State, (5°C) below March average temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (38°C) each in Zaungtu, Bawlakhae and Theinzayat. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Machanbaw (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd March, 2017: Rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
