SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Magway and Bawlakhae, (39°C) each in Kyaukse, Minbu, Aunglan, Taunggu and Phyu. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.23)inch, Machanbaw (0.12)inch and Hkamti (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th March, 2017: Rain will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern & Eastern) Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
