BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean moved west­northwestwards  has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (775) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco-Island, (890) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (230) Nautical miles South- Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (385) Nautical miles South- Southeast of Nagapattinam, (445)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry and (490)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal and a few clouds over the Andaman Sea.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE04^thMarch, 2022:Rain or thundershowersare likely to beisolated in TaninthayiRegion. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing,Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, MonStates and generally fair inthe remaining Regions and States.
