25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

(Issued at 13:00 hrs M.S.T on 28-2-2022)

   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (262) cm. It may fall below the present water level by about (½) foot during the first(10) days of March, 2022 and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.
