SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and Rakhine State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Namsam, (8°C) each in Pinlaung, Heho and Mongyang. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tedim (0.20)inch, Katha (0.08)inch, Bhamo and Machanbaw (0.04)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th February, 2017: Rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, (Eastern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
