SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (3°C) above February average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Namsam, (7°C) each in Thipaw, Lashio, Pinlaung, Heho and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th February, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
