25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (30) miles Northeast of Hpakan) about (270) miles North of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (04)hr (06)min (05)sec M.S.T on 30th January, 2017.
