BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24^th January, 2017: Light rains are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon – Taninthayi Coasts. Surface winds speed in easterly winds may reach (35)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
