SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Mon State, weather has been generally fair in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan(North and East) States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Kachin State and (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Bago Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Putao, (3°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Thipaw and Moekok, (5°C) each in Lashio and Heho.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st January, 2017: Rain will be likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan State.
