SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) above January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) below January average temperatures in Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-3°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Pinlaung, (3°C) each in Putao, Heho, Pyinoolwin and Moekok, (4°C) each in Namsam, Naungcho and Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th January, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and Chin States.
