25-11-2024:According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 570 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, under the influence of the low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated to scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States during from (9.1.2017) to (12.1.2017).
