Cyclonic Storm “GULAB”
According to the observations at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bangal has moved Westwards and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “GULAB”. It is centered at about (280) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe, (360) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Gwa, (370) Nautical miles Northwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (155) Nautical miles Southeast of Paradip and (205) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Gopalpur(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Cyclonic Storm “GULAB” is coded yellow stage.

The Cyclonic Storm “GULAB” is likely to move Westwards and cross near North Andhrapradesh - South Odisha Coasts (India) during next (36)hrs.

Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
