SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region, weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were about December average temperatures in Magway and Taninthayi Regions and Chin State, (5°C) above December average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions and Kachin State and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha and (7°C)each in Pinlaung and Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Hkamti (0.32) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th December, 2016: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%).
