25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin and Chin States,  weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in  Minbu and Magway,  (41°C) each in Kyobinkauk and Bawlakhae.  The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Putao (0.34)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Southeast Bay and generally fair in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th March, 2015: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of isolated light rain or thundershowers in the Northern Myanmar areas.
