SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy to cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regoins, (Eastern and Southern)Shan and Rakhine States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Putao and (8°C) each in Namsam and Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th December, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Rakhine States, generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
