SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae, (41°C) each in Naypyitaw (Tatkon), Naypyitaw (Yezin), Yamethin, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay and Kyobinkauk. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the Central Bay and partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th March, 2015: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
