7-1-2026 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwest. It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Thaungyin River

According to the (09:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Thaungyin River at Myawady has exceeded by about (8½) Feet above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (1½) feet during the next (1) day and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying area in Myawady Township, to take precaution measure.
