SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Northern Shan State, isolated in Yangon Region and Southern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above December average temperature in Kayah State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Rakhine States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha and (9°C) in Loilin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Coco Island (0.32)inch and Kyaukmae and Naungcho (0.08)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:00) hrs MST today, the cyclonic storm Nada” over Southwest Bay moved to West-Northwest wards. It is centered at about (180)miles South Southeast of Chennai (India), (145)miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and (113)miles North-Northeast of Trincomalee (Srilanka). It is forecast to move West-Northwest wards. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd December, 2016: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
