SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.74) inches in Myitkyina, (2.56) inches in Shwekyin, (2.52) inches in Naypyitaw(Zeyarthiri), (2.09) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.04) inches in Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri), (1.93) inches in Belin, (1.89) inches in Maubin, (1.85) inches in Madauk, (1.73)inches in Khayan and (1.57) inches in Maungdaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30thJune, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
