26-11-2024:According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards. It is centered at about 790 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 480 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy  over the North Andaman Sea.

The water levels may rise above the present water level by about (5-8) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, about (2-4) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and NyaungOo,about (1-2) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River.

The water levelsmay rise above the present water level by about (5-7) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik andKalewa,about (3-5) feet atMinkin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River.

The water levelsmay rise above the present water level by about (3) feet at Kalay of Myittha River,about (1-4) feet at Hsipaw, Shwesaryan and Myitnge of DokhtawadyRiver, about(2-3½) feet at Taungooand Madaukof Sittaung River, about (1½) feet at Shwegyin of Shwegyin River,about (1-2) feet at Zaungtu and Bago of Bago River, about (2-3) feet at Hpasawng and Hpaanof Thanlwin River,about (1) foot at Myawaddy of Thaungyin River, about (1-2½) feet at Ngathaingchaung,Thabaung and Pathein of Ngawun River, about (2) feet at Maubin of Toe River, about (2-4) feet at Paletwa and Kyauktaw of KaletanRiver, about (6) feet at Myauk U of Laymyo River and about (4) feet at Bilin of BilinRiver.
