SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Southern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Northern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) in Loilin, (12°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Myitkyina (2.36)inches, Monyin (2.13)inches, Zalun (1.50)inches, Bago (1.46) inches, Machanbaw and Pinlaebu (1.34)inches each, Yangon(North Dagon) (1.18)inches, Aunglan (1.10)inches, Pathein (1.06)inches and Nyantone (0.97)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th November, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
