BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:00)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay has moved to East-Northeast wards and reached over North Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (150)miles Southwest of Chittagong(Bangladesh), (80)miles South - Southwest of Khepupara(Bangladesh) and (165)miles West- Northwest of Sittwe(Myanmar). It is forecast to move Northeast wards and likely to cross Chittgong Coast (Bangladesh) during next (12)hrs.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th November, 2016: Weather is partly cloudy in (Eastern and Southern) Shan, Kayah and Kayin State, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35 - 40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
