BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay has moved to South Bay of Bengal and still persists. It is forecast to further intensify into a depression during next (24)hrs. Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd November, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States, scattered in Magway, Region, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Chin and Rakhine States.
