BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is forecast to further intensify into a depression during next (24)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 2nd November, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf off Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
