SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Magway Region and isolated heavy falls in Chin and Mon States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Kyeikkhame (3.19)inches, Mindat (3.11)inches, Hpa-an (2.71)inches, Saw (1.87)inches, Kyaukhtu (1.75)inches, Kyobinkauk (1.65)inches, Hlaingbwe (1.46)inches, Monyin and Mudon (1.38)inches each, Kayukmae (1.30) inches, Kanbalu (1.22)inches, Bago and Chaungsone (1.18)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)m.p.h.
