BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has slightly moved to North-Northwest wards. It is centered at about (160)miles North - Northwest of Coco-Island, (90)miles Northwest of Hainggyikyun, (100)miles West of Pathein, (100)miles Southwest of Gwa and (180)miles West - Southwest of Yangon, Myanmar.It is forecast to further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and continue North – Northwest wards.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40)m.p.h.Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State.
