BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved to Northeast wards. It is centered at about (80)miles North-Northwest of Coco-Island, (115)miles Southwest of Hainggyikyun, (160)Southwest of Pathein and (235)miles Southwest of Yangon,Myanmar. It is forecast to move East-Northeast wards and further intensify into a cyclonic storm during the next (24)hrs.The present stage of the depression is coded orange stage. It is moving towards Myanmar coasts.Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd October, 2016: Weather will be Partly cloudy in Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, rain or thundershowers will be isolated Naypyitaw and Upper Sagaing Regions, Shan (East and South) and Kayah States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squally with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuous of increase of rain in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
