22-12-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th September, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of decrease of rain in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Rakhine State.
