SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (5°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Loilin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hkamti (0.55)inch and Homalin (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23th February, 2015: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
