BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26^th August, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
