24-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial India Ocean has intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

   During the month of September, the water levels may exceed one time each their respective town danger levels at Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River, at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River, at Myitnge of the Dokhtawady River, at Toungoo and Madauk of Sittoung River, at Shwegyin of the Shwegyin River, at Bago of the Bago River, at Hpaan of the Thanlwin River, at Ngathaingchaung and Thabaung of Ngawun River and at Maubin of Toe River above their respective town danger levels respectively.
