23-10-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) has moved Northwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low pressure area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Hkamti is observed as about (3) feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (2) days.

   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Mawlaik is observed as about (3) feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (3) days.

   It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at Hkamti and Mawlaik Townships to take precaution measure.
