23-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

        During the Month of August, the water level may exceed their respective town danger levels are one time each at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaung Pyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River, at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River, at Taungoo and Madauk of Sittoung River, at Myitnge of Dokhtawady River, at Hpaan of Thanlwin River, at Myawady of Thaungyin River , at Bago of Bago River, at Shwegyin of Shwegyin River, at Nathinchaung, Tharboung and Pathein of Ngawun River, at Maubin of Toe River and at Bilin of Bilin River respectively.
