SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, scattered in Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regional heavy falls in Magway Region and isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tada U (2.87)inches, Magway (2.60)inches, Hainggyi Kyun (2.44)inches, Moemate (1.54)inches, Minbu (1.49)inches, Mawlaik (1.42)inches, Mandalay (1.34)inches, Yay (1.30)inches, Kyaukbataung (1.25)inches, Taunggu (1.22)inches, Myauk U and Yangon( North Dagon) (1.18)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th July, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of decrease of rain in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States.
