SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and isloated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hkamti (2.95)inches, Bhamo (1.93)inches, Falam and Sittwe (1.77)inches each, Myitkyina (1.34)inches,  Tamu (1.22)inches, Moekok (1.18) inches, Myauk U and Thabeikkyin (1.02)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th July, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak Monsoon.
