7-1-2026  According to the observations at 13:00 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has further intensified into Depreassion almost stationary. It is centered at about 650 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island(Myanmar), 435 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 615 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

         The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (1-2½) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and  Nyaung Oo, and about (½-1)  foot at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (½-1) foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
