17-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify and move West-Northwestwards and reach to Tamil Nadu Coasts, India during next 2 days. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the (06:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Magway is (409) cm. It may remain below its minimum alert water level (410) cm during the next (5) days.
