24-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

(Issued at 13:00 hrs M.S.T on 28-2-2020)

        According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (307) cm. It may rise about (½) foot above the present water level during the frist (10) days of March 2020, and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.

 

       According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Minbu is (405) cm. It may remain below its minimum alert water level (410) cm during the first (10) days of March 2020.

 

       According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Magway is (397) cm. It may remain below its minimum alert water level (410) cm during the first (10) days of March 2020.
