23-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of November 2015

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall below the present water levels about (1- 1½) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, about (2-2½) feet at Mandalay and Sagaing, and  about (3-4) feet at  Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo ,Chauk ,Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels about (1-1½) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaung Pyin, and about (2-2½) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin and Monywa.
