SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay and Magway Regions and isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Manaung (9.41)inches, Hainggyikyun (7.48)inches, Gwa (2.99) inches, Thazi (2.87)inches, Natogyi (2.77)inches, Myawady (2.72)inches, Mawlaik and Kalaywa (2.68) inches each, Htilin (2.48)inches and Wundwin (2.46)inches and Kyaukhtu (2.45)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
