SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin State, isolated in Nay Pyi Taw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Shan,Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Taunggyi (1.26) inches, Myeik (1.18) inches, Madauk (1.14) inches and Tharrawady (1.06) inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and South Bay, weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st October, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
