BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the North Bay, monsoon is strong in the Andaman Sea and South Bay, weak elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25^th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States, scattered in Bago Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon – Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach ( 30 - 35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar areas.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
