Bay of Bengal Condition
Three Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into the Depression. During this monsoon period, monsoon will be moderate to strong.
Rain Conditions and Rainy Days
Rain will be expected above normal in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States.
Rainy days will be expected 18 to 27 days in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and 10 to 17 days in Lower Sagaing, and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, and Kayah States.
