SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated  heavy falls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Launglon (3.39)inches, Kyaukpyu (2.44)inches, Taungkok (2.20)inches, Kyainseikkyi (2.08) inches, Chaungsone (1.81)inches, Kawkayeit (1.77)inches, Dawei (1.57)inches and Putao, Gwa and Mawlamyine (1.49)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
