BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Kachin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy fall in Ayeyarwady Region, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.
