29-11-2024: BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 665 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.

 A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (6) miles north of Chauk), latitude 20.97°N, longitude 94.82°E, depth (111) kilometers about (17) miles southwest of Naung U seismological observatory was recorded at (05)hr (09)min (22)sec M.S.T. on 7th September, 2018.
