21-12-2024:According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal continues has moved East-Northeastwards. It is centered at about 510 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Visakhapatnam (India). The centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30-35) miles per hour. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East Central Bay and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States.
